Slash X Ranch – Barstow, CA

The drive down HWY 99 was shared with lots of big trucks.  We made a couple of stops along the way to dump the gray and black tanks and fill the propane.

We only needed two gallons of propane.

We arrived at Slash X Ranch, another Harvest Host location, and found that the restaurant is only open on weekends.  We called the owner and they were very nice and welcoming.  They said we could park anywhere we wanted on their 40 acre ranch.  There were about five other people parked in various places.  We chose a spot right in the middle, and it was perfectly level.

A great place to stop for the night.
