Sheila’s Place – Omaha, Nebraska

Sheila, Leonard's Mom, invited us to stay at her place in Omaha, Nebraska.  (Leonard is our niece Courtney's husband.)

We drove through three states to get there: Missouri, Kansas and Iowa.

Sheila and her sister Peggy were such gracious hosts. We had so much fun!

I can't believe how much we packed into 36 hours!  During our stay we:

• Dined at an amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurant called Kelley's Fish Market.  They had the best fried Catfish and Walleye.
• Met Sheila's boyfriend Isaiah, a very genuine guy, he designed and printed  commemorative college world series T-shirts for himself, Karen and I, thank you Isaiah!
• Watched a wonderful neighborhood firework display, courtesy of Sheila and Peggy's niece Linda
• Went to the final game of the College World Series and watched Ole Miss take the national title, the first in their school's long history
• Visited Old Town Omaha and shot some pool
• Ate a fantastic dinner at Kona's Restaurant
