Noel & Mike’s – 2022

We made the relatively short drive from Austin, Texas to Noel and Mike's home in Humble, TX, which is close to Houston.

We made several stops along the way, including our first trip to Buc-ee's where they sell a lot more than just gas. It's definitely an experience.

It was super hot in Texas, 100 degrees and high humidity every day!

We had so much fun with Noel and Mike! We always enjoy their company. Last year we went to New Orleans with them. This year we chilled at their place, had lots of laughs and great conversations.

While we were there we:

Took a super fun day trip to Galveston (Galveston, oh Galveston...)
Ate lunch at the Fisherman's Wharf
Endured some fast-paced 3 - 6 miles walks through their beautiful neighborhood
Ate some delicious home cooked meals including Mike's smoked tri-tip & rib-eye, Karen's gnocchi, French pancakes with strawberries
Helped Mike install a shade awning
Introduced Noel & Mike to Ted Lasso
Enjoyed a great Crossroads DVD concert featuring Mark Knopfler and Emmy Lou Harris
