John Schneider’s Studio

After Noel & Mike's, our next stop was John Schneider's Studio, a Harvest Host location in Louisiana.  John Schneider is the blonde actor from Dukes of Hazzard.

His studio is a movie set, but they also have concerts, an outdoor movie theatre and various events there, in addition to having a campground.

It was a pretty neat environment and surprisingly very quiet.  We had the place pretty much to ourselves.  The venue was open for camping, but otherwise closed the day we were there.  We only saw one person drive through in a white pickup.  That's it.

The crickets were chirping pretty good that night, and a lot of interesting sounds coming from the forest.

We would love to stay here again, perhaps at a time when we could take in an event.
