We left our home on September 16th and returned on December 27th, after 3 and 1/2 months on the road. We had some great adventures, but it felt great to be home.
We spent $764.50 in gas from home to Apache Junction, AZ, $339.02 to drive from Apache Junction to Dixon, MO, $332.16 to drive back from Dixon to Apache Junction and $556.78 from Apache Junction to Edmonds for a total of $1992.46, not including the money spent on gas while staying in Arizona.
The highest price we paid was in $5.45/gallon in Eureka, CA. The least was $2.56 in Oklahoma, but the price was about the same in Texas, New Mexico and Missouri.
We drove a total of 6,752 miles:
- Edmonds to Apache Junction 1702
- Apache to Dixon and back 3078
- Apache to Sedona and back 302
- Apache Junction to Edmonds 1670
We are grateful to have traveled all those miles safely, thankful for the many wonderful experiences and feel blessed to be home.
