Home Again!
After nearly 7 weeks on the road, we arrived back home on the 4th of July.
What a trip! We saw so many new places and made so many new memories.
We traveled 8,218 miles, spent $3,588 in gas and crossed 22 states:

Our highlights were:
- Seeing a newborn Alpaca, 5 hours old, at an Alpaca farm in Butte, Montana
- Riding bikes in Snow Canyon, Utah
- Visiting Ellen and Bernie in Mesa, AZ
- The baby shower in Arizona for Leonard and Courtney
- Three concerts, Wishbone Ash, Tears for Fears and Herb Alpert (for the first time)
- Visiting our first Buc-ee's in Texas
- Visiting Noel & Mike in Humble, TX
- The thunderstorms in Montgomery, AL, Lexington, SC, Jacksonville, NC, Mt. Rushmore, SD, Billings, MT, Missoula, MT, Nine Mile Falls, WA.
- Visiting Melissa, Mark and grand kids in Jacksonville, NC
- Seeing fireflies for the first time in Paris, Kentucky
- Visiting Sheila, Peggy and Isaiah in Omaha
- Attending the final game of the College Baseball World Series, Ole Miss won their first National Title
- Visiting the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Monument and Wall Drug, in South Dakota
- Visiting and watching fireworks with Don and Ann at Nine Mile.
We are so grateful for the experiences and can't wait to get out there and make some more new ones, just closer to home for a while.
