Holiday Palms RV Resort, Quartzsite, AZ

We drove through Joshua Tree National Park on our way to Quartzsite, stopping a couple of times to take in the Joshua Trees and cool rock formations.

We arrived at the Holiday Palms RV Resort on Friday around 1pm and quickly got set up in about 1/2 hour, including disconnecting the truck from the trailer, removing the stabilizer bars and connecting to city water and power.

Ellen and Bernie joined us for the weekend in their 2015, 21 foot, Kodiak Dutchman.  They purchased it in January. It's a nice rig.

While we were in Quartzsite, we:

• We explored the area on bikes
• Visited the Hi Jolly landmark
• Parked our bikes and walked through a swap meet
• Played cribbage and Mexican Train dominos
• Learned from Ellen and Bernie how to play a new card game called Swipe
• Swam in the pool and warmed ourselves in the hot tub.

It was a fun weekend.  We left around 10am on Sunday to head towards Ellen and Bernie's.
