Fort Stockton, TX
We stayed at the Hilltop RV Park in Fort Stockton, TX for the second time in the past two years.
It is a convenient location, right off of HWY 10, and yes, it was hot, 107 degrees when we arrived. We had full hookups and as soon as we got settled we headed for the pool. They had just refilled it with cold water, so it was very refreshing!
For sleeping, it was louder than we remembered it, being close to the freeway. Our air conditioning worked great, and we were able to stay cool.
Karen cooked some tasty Kielbasa and beans for dinner, which seemed appropriate for where we were, kind of like what they used to cook in the old western's out on the prairie.
We took in a beautiful sunset and got a good night's rest.
