Day 35, Holesinsky Winery – Twin Falls, Idaho

After our stay in Zion, we drove to the Holesinsky Winery in Buhl, ID, close to Twin Falls.  We had stayed there on our 2nd night on March 19th in the pouring rain.  The weather had changed dramatically in the five weeks in between the two stays.

It was a beautiful spring day, about 65 degrees, the first day we had experienced daytime high temperatures of less than 80 degrees since North Carolina. The birds were chirping and everyone was happy, including Bill, the dog, who roamed freely on the large property.  Sometimes we would see him just sitting by the little pond with his tail wagging as he watched the birds.  We both said we could take him home.  What a nice dog!

We took a quick trip into Twin Falls to see what it was like.  It had a small town feel but it was definitely growing.  We stopped at Cold Stone for some delicious ice cream.

We spent the evening watching the sunset.  We decided to keep the four bottles of wine we purchased for later and sipped on whiskey instead.  It was a wonderful stay.
