Day 33 – Sedona & the Grand Canyon

After a wonderful stay at Ellen & Bernie's, we headed north to Zion National Park.  On the way, we decided to drive through Sedona and visit the Grand Canyon.

The Grand Canyon was an hour off of our intended path, so we thought, what the heck.  We're close.  Let's go!

We had been to the Grand Canyon once before, a few years ago, with Rose and Les.  It's so immense and beautiful, you could stare at it all day.  It's hard to take it all in.

After spending an hour or two there, we got back on the road to Zion.  The road, Highway 89 was the absolute worst road we had driven on the entire trip, bouncy and full of potholes.

But we made it to Zion River RV Park and stayed two days to explore Zion more fully.
