Cooper’s Maiden Voyage
In out first outing with Cooper we traveled to 9 Mile, just north of Spokane, WA. Don and Ann hosted us on their family property.
Cooper kept us warm during this unseasonably cool spring. We woke up to 38 degrees on Saturday and I don't think it ever got above 55 degrees.
Don and I golfed at Indian Canyon, then Don, Karen and I enjoyed a great concert at the Bing Crosby theatre on Saturday night. Wishbone Ash played their iconic Argus album, beginning to end, the 50th anniversary of the album's release in 1972. It was fantastic! Other great songs included: Enigma, Way of the World, We Stand as One and Phoenix.
We enjoyed some great meals, one of them with Claude and Teresa. It was a real pleasure to spend the evening with them. Don cooked some steaks from D & D Meats that were outstanding. Other culinary delights were prepared by Karen who made a great tortellini soup and lasagna. The molasses cookies for dessert were also delicious.
Thank you for the wonderful stay Don and Ann!
