Bakersfield, CA

On our way from Carmel to Arizona, we stayed one night at the Orange Grove RV Park & Resort in Bakersfield.

It had a decent pool, that we used for a couple of hours to cool down our core temperature.  It was in the upper 90's.

We had a nice dinner outside at the picnic table with Ellen and Bernie, Keilbasa and vegetable stir fry.  Afterwards we played the card game "Swipe" which has become one of our favorites.

We heard train whistles at night, which we've become accustomed to while traveling.

Overall, a decent place to stay, near the freeway, but not too noisy.
