Apache Junction, AZ

We arrived at Superstition Sunrise RV Park on Monday, September 30th.  While we were there, the weather got super hot, 112º, with a low of 85º.  Needless to say, we slept with the air conditioning on.

The RV park features two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, a community clubhouse, a game room, pickleball and shuffleboard courts (yes, we are shuffleboard age!) and a huge laundry facility.

The place was pretty empty when we arrived, but by the time we left if was starting to fill up.  The snowbirds were on their way!

We had dinner with Ken on Tuesday night at a restaurant called Bonfire Craft Kitchen and Tap House.  Neat place with good food.

On Wednesday we arrived at Bernie and Ellen's around 2pm and were in and out of the pool a lot!  It was 108º that day.  We had a nice dinner and lounged most of the day.

It was so hot, we decided to leave for Missouri to visit Melissa, Mark and the grandkids a couple of days early.
