Anelare Winery – Benton City, WA

Like we did three years ago on our first cross-country trek, we spent our last night at Anelare Winery in Benton City, WA, near Tri-cities.

Last time we had the T@b Trailer and parked up above.  This time we chose to park down below.  Still an amazing view!

Also, the last time we were here, we were the only ones.  This time it was a much different story.  We arrived at 1pm and the parking lot was almost full and the place was bustling!  Happy to see that Kahrin's business was going so well.  The combination of delicious wood-fired pizza paired with full-bodied red wine and amazing view can't be beat!

We met a nice couple, Gary and Emma from Richland.  They were fun to talk to.

They closed at 5pm and like last time, Kahrin let us sit outside after hours and enjoy the sunset.  They also invited us to have our morning coffee outside on their terrace.  As it turns out, it was too windy in the morning to enjoy coffee on the terrace.  In fact, we had to pull in our slider at 12:30am because the wind was just howling!

Anelare Winery; a great place to stay and enjoy the view before driving home after being on the road since March 18th.
